Work Related Services
Work Services provide vocational training, experience, and other activities to participants who are not ready or do not desire to work in competitive community settings. Individuals work at RCS, earning a paycheck while developing skills. Case managers work with individuals to establish Individual Program Plans, provide counseling and assist with accessing other resources. Many people utilize Work Services to build skills and prepare for a job in the community.
Our dedicated, professional staff provides specialized, individual training. In addition to the learning to perform a variety of jobs, participants can learn the soft skills necessary for successful employment:
- Developing positive relationships with co-workers and supervisors
- Improving Communication skills
- Building stamina
- Teamwork
- Following directions and producing quality work
- Improving work speed
